The stone buildings are articulated around courtyards facing south.
It is in one of these pretty interior courtyards that breakfast will be served to you in the shade of a hundred-year-old plane tree.
The house is bordered by an orchard where an old grape press recalls what one day was one of the activities of the farm. In front of the house, an old washhouse which was once used to wash sheep's wool has become a pretty piece of flowered water.
Inside, the volumes of the old barns and stables are subtly highlighted by stone, travertine, wood and wrought iron.
Majestic stairs lead to the library on one side, and to the comfortable bedrooms on the other.
Located in the heart of the Enclave des Papes, once a stronghold of the popes in Avignon, La Calamande is an imposing 1000 m2 farmhouse made up of two buildings built in the 19th century in old stones from the region and surrounded by fields of lavender.
Completely renovated recently, the house has been equipped with all modern amenities: air conditioning, individual sanitary facilities, wifi, fitness room, sauna, hammam, library, ...
